I’ve stumbled across this site after searching high and low for some good pointers and information on growing my own veggies. I’ve never been the type to be in the garden, sowing seeds and such, but now that I’ve recently aquired a 2 lovely gardens (both front and rear) – I thought I’d put the space to good use and start growing some goods myself.

A little about me then; My name is Emma and I’m 26. I live on the Wirral, North West. I have a little girl called Jessica who is 5 years old and I also mother 3 moggies.

I’ve started my growing addiction with Sunflowers, Tomatoes and Lavender…. A total mix, I know but whilst shopping in my local Wilkinsons, I was totally amazed by the varieties available and at the time my daughter was pestering me to grow Sunflowers. Potted them all up this evening and they are now sitting on my bedroom windowsill waiting to catch the morning sun.

Hopefully I won’t kill them…..
