This has been a very good growing year 1 Allotment garden
Even though personally, things weren’t really striving (at home, the kids, work…), the weather was superb this year. I had a very good harvest! Lots of apples and pears, not too many snails…

    Rats? Knolselderij and Allotment garden
The celery suddenly spreads its leaves: what is happening? When I remove the leaves, that are all loose, I see what has happened. The whole root has been eaten! Probably mole rats, they have had a liitle feast on it. Only the two celery that I have grown in the SFG have matured nicely!

Artichoke is growing Artisjok Established and Allotment garden
From one little pot I have planted five plants in my garden. Three in the plot where the other artichokes used to grow and two on the side near the raspberries. So far they have grown nicely. Hopefully I’ll have lots of artichokes next year!

One down Willow and Party garden
This spring we have removed one of the two trees. It was a little crowded in this small garden. And I wanted to have more flowers in the minimal space I have. So now there is only one. It was pruned in spring and only now some sprouts are returning. I almost thought we had killed it…

Cut back Tayberry and Fruitcircle garden
In winter I have cut back all branches, it was such a mess! Now the stems are almost 60 cm high, and on some of them fruit is already showing!

A basket full! Fruitcircle garden and Strawberry
I have just harvested a hat full of strawberries! And I haven’t even put a netting over most plants. I now know that most fruit are not eaten by birds, but by slugs and woodlice.

Last year Rhubarb 'Nåsåker' and Allotment garden
This is the last year I will leave my rhubarbe alone. Next year I can finally harvest some branches of my own plant! This year I still bought some at the supermarket, but it is way too expensive!

Some fruit Red Currant and Fruitcircle garden
It isn’t much, but there is some fruit. Probably isn’t enough for juice, but maybe for a little tarte?
