Wow, I haven’t updated for a long time! My little girl is growing fast, about to turn six months old next week. She is in her grabbing, rolling and (only yesterday) sitting up stage. My garden, however, has suffered some neglect, which has to be rectified, once I have regained my energy.Overcast 28°C / 82°F -

I am back, of sorts. The late nights looking after my little girl (she’s now two months young!) are taking a toll on the family: bleary eyes, grumpy temperaments. ;) Alas, because I haven’t been looking after the garden that well, it’s looking shabby and unkempt. I am back, of sorts, probably helped by the uber-strong painkillers issued by the hospital pharmacy. I gave birth on the 1st of August – Lammas! Our new daughter is doing fine, a bit of baby jaundice but I love her eyes. So big. As for the garden – well, once I recover (fully), itR...Hazy 33°C / 91°F -

Happy 4th of July and assorted non-gardening and gardening stuff.
Happy 4th of July! Anyway, not much happening – my snake bean vines have latched onto the Malabar spinach vines. Malabar spinach vines are still flowering and fruiting away – ah, purple berries. The garden, on the whole, is a bit neglected this weekend as my daughter has been admitted...Storms 27°C / 81°F -
