My dad has a real green thumb and I helped him with the garden growing up. I’ve been on my own for quite some years now and have tried with varying success to grow things in containers and in strange beds. I think last year I finally started doing some real learning about gardening, and this year I’m in it full speed ahead. Hopefully my SFG will produce some good vegetables, and I can get the front bed and rose bed looking nice so our rental house yard looks less like, well, a run-down rental house yard. To really make it nice would require more time, money, and effort than I’m willing to put in on property I don’t own, but I think I can apply some sort of patch so I can at least enjoy my own yard.
