Planted these out about three weeks ago. Already need tying up and branching nipped out.

Some of the plants have appeared green and flowered.
If there are not enough plants to make a show, then there are plenty of seedlings to plant from the rose garden.

23 Apr 2008Autumn cleanup Driveway Strip gardenMostly tidying up, cropping back and propagating. Lemongrass Cut the height to 30 cm. Now I can see the plant(s), it is easier to harvest and further propagate. The difficulty now is deciding where to plant another bunch of lemongrass. Catmint Cut back to first green leaves. I transplanted a heap of seedlings to the front verge about this time last year.
There are heaps more to move if I want to. They are probably better out of the rose garden as they make the roses quite damp.
