    first harvest Radish Harvesting and Inside Triangular Bed garden
    Pulled the first radishes today. All four of them. More were available, but I decided to hurry inside the house with my treasures. Promptly washed off the dirt and ate them :) Yum. From tomorrow, I’ll be able to start including radish in our meals.

    pruned Rose garden
    This year I finished pruning took a couple of days, but I finished on 13 July 2007. One of the tools that I found useful was a pruning saw as it meant I could finish the task all by myself. Also, it did mean that branches that I let go the previous year, were pruned with the saw this year.

    rabbits and bears Tiny Orchard garden
    Today I planted Rosemary in two pots. One pot has a wire frame in the shape of a rabbit and the other a teddy bear. The aim is to shape the plant in the shape of the wire frame. The pots are sitting on the wall bordering where the citrus trees are planted.

    fruit Peach 'Dwarf' and Inside Triangular Bed garden
    Many many peaches have formed on the tree, and they are now beginning to turn from green to shades of red. I’m beginning to wish it was not a Dwarf Peach Tree.

    flowers Pomegranate Tree and Inside Triangular Bed garden
    A few flowers have appeared, but after flowering the beginning of the fruit appear on the ground. It is a very young tree, and the branches are thinner than a pencil. It is possible that the birds that use the tree to hop onto the nearby bird bath are shaking them off.

    I can see red Radish and Inside Triangular Bed garden
    The radishes are a bit crowded, but I was so excited today because if I look between the leaves I can see the red of the radishes.

    I noticed today that the stem tips are beginning to sprout leaves and some new stems.

    This plant appears to thrive on being cut back hard. This is the first batch of cuttings I took in June 2007.

    five days 2 Tomato and Inside Triangular Bed garden
    They have not been a week, but they are already growing strong. Dad noted that I had not yet put in stakes, and that I should put them in now so as not to damage any roots.

    harvest Pea Harvesting and Trial and Error garden
    Today I harvested some more peas, but not to go into the pot. They are too yummy as snacks.
