Major work happening on the house. In preparation, i moved a bunch of things. Rue from near the front porch to back between the goumi in the blobs of fruit garden. The tomatoes and cukes remain tiny, but i have hope for them. It is only June. For a couple more days. I mounded up more earth and straw over the potatoes. oh, i planted these out a while ago

So i hear about recipes that call for snails, with rosemary as a substitution, because snails-for-eating are fed on rosemary and taste like it. Pulling out the grasses and weeds to make room for a friend’s experimental corn, i found one little lamb’s quarters sprout. I put it in a pot to protect it; when it gets big and strong enough (and i have the time to clear more grass out front) into the weed specimen garden it will go!21°C / 69°F -
