I grew up in a gardening-loving family. My grandmothers both had huge gardens, one (as far as I can remember) decorative, the other more of a fruit and vegetable garden, but with some nice flowers too. My parents started their own attempts in gardening when we moved in our first home with a garden. I was around 3 years old, then. So all my thinking life I was surrounded with gardens, and gardening, and books about plants and gardening. My friends say that I have green fingers, but I guess I just was lucky enough to have a good pair of teachers.
I don’t have a garden of my own in forms of a green patch somewhere on the ground. But I have my little balcony, and I am determined to get it as green as possible during the summer.
