    Removed the foliage of the tulips and chiondoxa from the front garden. Left the anemone and allium but cut the allium stems. Looks much cleaner now.     Finally Summer

    The weather is finally matching the date. A few days of sun and heat is having an impact on the garden. With nothing but sun in teh forecast I am anticipating lots more growth.     Buy plants with a bud so you can see the color (if important for containers) NO nemesia, cosmos. Research night stock. Container with lobelia, viola, red verbena and dianthus?? color coordinated?? Dahlia & sweet alyssum – bigger pot? Geraniums by themselves only

    Training Camp

    What a difference a week makes. It has been sunnier (therefore warmer and drier) and we also had the first day of summer. It has made a world of difference, especially to the climbing plants. I always love to come home from work but these days I am practically racing home to see what has change...
