    WTF, Thyme, WTF.

So this is what the thyme looks like now. (I had trouble getting a clear shot, so this is the best I could do.) What does this mean?? Is it watered too much? Too little? Does it just hate me?

The Thyme Is Displeased And So Am I

I thought I’d headed off whatever was making my thyme sad, but apparently not. Now the other stems are getting droopy at the top. The soil seems moist, but not over-wet, so I don’t know if it wants more water, less water, a cookie, what. It’s getting sunlight (well, what we̵...

My English Thyme Seems To Have A Split Personality

I noticed today that about half of the stems on the thyme, though looking perfectly normal on the whole, were droopy. I don’t know what this means: did I water it too much? Too little? Does it just hate me? Was it attempting sign language? Interpretive dance? So I took to it with the scisso...

    More sprout disappointments

    Container garden and Lavender (True)
Very little has sprouted of the lavender seeds, and they don’t seem to be doing anything. This is a bizarre trend this year: of the seeds that have sprouted so far, they all seem to get up and out of the ground, and then they just kinda hang out and do nothing. I’m thinking if nothing...

Didn't get as much done as I'd hoped...

Container garden , Snapdragons (mini) Repotted, Lobelia Repotted, and Garden Daisy Repotted
…but considering I was speed repotting between doing laundry, I think I did okay. I didn’t get to all the seedlings from the nursery yesterday, but I did get one large container planted with the yellow daisy, lobelia, and the fuschia snapdragons. (Pics tomorrow maybe.) I left them som...

    Repotted stock

Container garden , Stock Vintage Mix (Purple) Repotted, and Stock Vintage Mix (Multi-Color) Repotted
Cleaned up both of the stock. Not sure if there was really much to be salvaged, but I thought it was worth a shot. I planted them both together in a medium container and stabilized the dark purple one (it was a little unstable originally – maybe the roots weren’t dark enough, hard to ...

    First seeds are sprouting!

The mesclun seeds are popping up, but I’m trying not to get too excited. The last ones popped quickly and then got leggy and died. Guess I’ll have to wait and see.
