I am thinking that putting them in cages for support was really not the best idea. They seem to be pushing up against the edges and not growing as tall. Unfortunately i will have to cut them out since they are wrapped all around the wires.Sunny 22°C / 71°F -

Last year the variety of spinach I had (i forget what it was) looked more like a head of romaine, but this year’s is growing really vertical. Is this healthy or should i be on the watch out for bolting

Lots of fresh flowers. The plants are about 4’ high and about 6" above the top of my chicken wire supports. I guess i should make some new cages to support them higher. Should have the first batch of snap peas in a couple days!Rainy 26°C / 79°F
