    Beans Starting to Flower

Beans Flowering and Backyard Vegetable garden
I am thinking that putting them in cages for support was really not the best idea. They seem to be pushing up against the edges and not growing as tall. Unfortunately i will have to cut them out since they are wrapped all around the wires.

    Does this look right?

Last year the variety of spinach I had (i forget what it was) looked more like a head of romaine, but this year’s is growing really vertical. Is this healthy or should i be on the watch out for bolting

    Snap Peas Flowering

Snap Peas (First Batch) Flowering and Backyard Vegetable garden
Lots of fresh flowers. The plants are about 4’ high and about 6" above the top of my chicken wire supports. I guess i should make some new cages to support them higher. Should have the first batch of snap peas in a couple days!
