well, how about that! Jersey Wakefield Cabbage and first year farm garden
The three cabbage plants I planted in my garden LAST night, seconds before the rain (actually it was raining when I planted them), were filled up with holes today from the bugs ALREADY! Poor things were doing better on my front porch.

Ready to collect seeds from sunflower heads sunflowers Dying Down and first year farm garden
Many of the sunflower heads are dropping and drying up. I’m watching to see when I should start cutting down the heads to save for seed. Any thoughts?

The lettuce bolted up and started making flowers on the tops. I am trying to figure out when to collect the seeds and how I know when they are ready to collect the seeds.

The pumpkins are turning from yellow to dark orange. I am trying to figure out when to pick them. When will I know they are ready to pick?

Some of the cabbage cups have 5 leaves and I transplanted them into the garden (3 of the 80).

Planted 10 days ago, nothing coming up artichokes and first year farm garden
nothing is happening on my 3 artichoke seeds. Not sure why they aren’t coming up. It’s been 10 days.
