15 Jul 2009Stopped producing Nickel "Haricots Verts" and Vegetable gardenPicked pretty much the last of the beans today. Very few new flowers. 15 Jul 2009First fruits withered and died Sugar Pumpkin and Vegetable gardenThe first 4 or 5 fruits got brown spots, then shriveled up and died. Might have been the terrible heatwave we had. We had a bit of a cool down last weekend, and a few more have started to form. Hoping these will make it all the way. Meanwhile, the vines have been going nuts! They’re huge!29°C / 84°F

The stems are tough, and the plants are very compact and it’s difficult to get in there to cut them.
