I’m a visiting scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I live in Albany, NY. I’m a relatively recent transplant from Southern California, but I’m gradually adapting to this bizarre climate where water (sometimes even freezing water) falls out of the sky at odd times of the year and tomatoes are treated as annuals instead of perennials.
