Many of my seeds are old, so I thought I’d do a germination test. At Day 4, I had more sprouts than I would have thought. For many of the things I’ve started, I will be happy if just one survives – for example, eggplant. I HATE eggplant – at least I did until I tasted Annie’s famous Mediterranean Beef Stew. Annie shared her recipe and when I made it myself, mine was just as good. Now I MUST...Rainy 7°C / 44°F -

Most of the other germination (Bachelor Buttons & Orlaya) is at the downhill portion of the bed – hope the seeds didn’t all wash down there. If so, we’ll be doing some transplanting. A few volunteer thistles have appeared also!22°C / 72°F -

Strawberry - 1st Harvest and wildlife questions
