Both the rose and peony buds opened up today! Yeah :D
The mizuna (from the last years greens mix sprinkled in the centre square, not recorded on Folia) and the Toy Choi also flowered today :(
And speaking of flowers … the osteospermum/superbells/euphorbia pot is looking great!

Look at these awesome 23 day old tomatoes … they’re growing so well in the areo tray!
I will start to harden them tomorrow (today is just too hot) to prep for planting out next week.

21 May 2009Water & Compost! 2 5 ELAM Allotment gardenWent back at noon to water the tomatoes. I know, noon?!?! but it was the first chance I had. Tomatoes look good, no signs of stress or munching! The water barrels have been distributed, but are still empty, so I’m still lugging water myself. Compost has appeared. Better late than never?24°C / 75°F
