    flowers, kind of late this year. Backyard garden and Four O'Clocks 'Tea Time Mix' Flowering
    i’m pretty sure these flowered a lot earlier last year. so far, i’ve seen white, yellow, and fuchsia flowers in that order. no pink yet. and no flowers from the front yard yet, either. those were really late to come up.

    i remember the flowers from this plant being either white or yellow, but now i can’t find pictures to prove it. maybe it hadn’t bloomed yet and i’m confuzled. either way, the new flowers are the perfect color of pink. i’m usually anti-pink but it’s perfect for these...

    my first zinnia flowers ever! zinnia Blooming and Backyard garden
    when i last took pictures, there was only one off-white flower, but now i have a hot pink one and a candy pink one. i’m so excited about them; they’re so cute and cheery.

    almost done flowering. Black Hollyhocks Harvesting and Backyard garden
    The flowers are on the very ends of the stalks now, and the seeds in the first flowers are ready to be harvested! I’m so excited that I’ll have more of these to swap and re-plant.

    ladybugs are everywhere Black Hollyhocks and Backyard garden
    there are probably ten on the hollyhocks by the chimney alone. i fish at least five out of the pool every day. they’re on the lemon and in the square planter. all adults. hoping for more larva!
