07 Aug 2008Just one so far Zucchini Harvesting and Foodie's Plot gardenWe had our first Zucchini from this plant. The plant itself has not grown much, but I am sure we will have more of these to come! What i did with the zucchini? Broiled it in the oven with some kosher salt, chili powder with a squash and some anaheim chilllies.Cloudy 27°C / 80°F

27 Jul 2008Ready for Salsa Tomatillo Harvesting and Foodie's Plot gardenWe harvested a few tomatilloes today! They are pretty small, but the husks completely browned and started to peel off. There were a couple that had fallen off from the recent storms, so now we have enough to make some salsa. All the plants are very healthy and growing nicely.Sunny 20°C / 68°F
