    Moved the lavender, lemon balm, and peppermint off of my front porch and into the vegetable garden. I put the pots on upside-down plastic buckets so they’ll have a little height off the ground (and be easier to care for) and to promote drainage. I cultivated a bit around each plant, too. ...

    General maintenance in the garden. Vegetable garden
    Cut the tops out of the tomatoes today because they are starting to bloom/get buds on them. Hopefully this will put more energy into making fruit instead of getting taller. Hope I did that right, it’s not like I know what I’m doing! I can tell I’m a first time vegetable mommy...
