We bought our first house in the Charlotte, NC area in 2006 worked very hard on making the garden something both beautiful and productive. In fall 2010 I moved to Cambridge, UK and am just getting my bearings in the new climate, but am excited to have a new gardening challenge. I have plans much bigger than my budget and my body will allow but I consider any garden a work in progress so I am very happy to just do a little at a time and enjoy small victories.

I am super budget when it comes to acquiring plants and materials. I like seed saving, seed swapping, growing from cuttings and divisions, re-purposing containers, composting and basically whatever helps my garden grow without costing me much money.
