Gardening has been off and on since my mom let us plant zinnias when I was a kid. We’ve been living in and renovating our 100 year old adobe house for 17+ years. I’ve tried to add something every year, even when there was really no time for maintenance. Finally the major work on the house is complete and I can focus on landscaping and filling in gardens. Last year I spent a lot of time on soil amendment. My goal is to fill in spaces and eventually have less maintenance and more relaxation! I’m interested in permaculture and, because of the where I live, xeriscape.
