Partly Sunny 18°C / 64°FTwo more rows of parsnips, sieved and dug. Put some remaining tomato plants in bed three. Near beans put in some sweet peas and transplanted some radish. More lettuce harvested.

Added some more slabs and stones to the pond edge. Added further lines of twine to the pea frames. Planted into the brassica bed some broccoli and kohl rabi Cucumber and radish into bed three and covered over parsnips as had been so wet. Earthed up pots.Partly Sunny 17°C / 63°F -

Grey skies, must be a bank-holiday weekend.
Courgette All Green Bush Planting Out and Courgette Tondo Chiaro Di Nizza Planting OutOvercast 12°C / 54°FWeeded the raspberry bed. Two rows of parsnips sown, sifted the soil and added some vermiculite. A tip from GW magazine so hope it works and get some nice plump snips. Sunny 25°C / 77°FTwo varieties of tomatoes and several types of peppers into greenhouse grow bags. Watered. Harvested some rocket and lettuce. placed some pots near cabbages to aid watering.

Sunny 25°C / 77°FTidied up clobber near greenhouse. Wendy and chaps down in afternoon. Cleared weeds along hedge on outside perimeter. Finished netting fruit cage.

Fairly warm inside the greenhouse.
Sunny 25°C / 77°FMoved some seedlings as too warm. Window opened. Pulled out the last of old cabbage plants and dug over. Watered.

Sweet peas, dirty knees and watching birdies.
Partly Sunny 16°C / 61°FIn the evening Wendy came for a visit. Put some sweet peas in by the fruit frame. Got up some cabbage and leek for Wednesday tea and a nice amount of rhubarb for crumble. Watered seedlings whilst Wendy kept an eye on visiting birds to feeders.
