My first batch of seedlings unfortunately failed due to lack of sunlight, so I’m making my second attempt next to a much sunnier window. I also invested in a heated tray to battle the coming cold weather. Fingers crossed…Sunny 17°C / 63°F -

I’ve finally planted some of my years-old packets of Dill, Thyme and Basil seeds. The expiry date is for August this year, so hopefully they’re still ok… ( >,>)
They’re planted in an inch-deep wooden bowl I picked up today from my local Salvos while I was working the...

After we moved Bob to a bigger tub, his flowers stopped dropping off and started developing into tomatoes.
He needs a trim, though, since a few new flowers have been starting to drop off again. Gonna keep up fertilizing him once a week. Seems to be doing him well

The cutting outgrew his old container, so we quickly transferred him to this 4L ice-cream container.
Personally, I’m a little hesitant about having a second Bob growing. He might turn into another tomato “tree”!

The white Liliums have been moved to a “shelf” on the lattice.
Had a snail problem last month that they are still recovering from.
The other three white Liliums seem to have a stunted growth.
I’m planning to soon dig them up and take a look at how their roots are.

The results of dropping a planter...

Ta-da! Here’s the remains of the seedling and the planter that fell onto our concrete stairs.
I managed to salvage the remaining seedlings by throwing them into the remains of the planter and a spare small pot.
While I lost a handful of seedlings in the process, a good majority survived.
So...
