I have been gardening since I was little, but it was only flowers that I directly gardened. I did help my grandfather bring in the harvest from his veggie garden, but I did not have that sort of a garden.
The garden that I had was in the 7-9 zone area, so gardening here is a bit different. There are different weeds that I have never seen. I can grow some plants from home, and several new ones. I believe it will be interesting. I have been gardening with roses and veggies now for three years, and have a lot to learn.
Addition
We have lived all over the midwest and now live in southern Nebraska. We have a large family, and I homeschool, so I am wife, mother (which means chauffer, housekeeper, washer woman, janitor, cook, etc.), and teacher. We also have 2 beautiful dogs, a 4 year old Newfoundland and a 9 month old Daniff. 3 cats, 2 of which are tabby’s and one soft gray. We live on an acre in the country and we love it! I grow anything and everything, and my hobbies include a wide range of activities both inside and out…it is just finding the time to do them, lol.
