Finally had an hour in the garden today – gorgeous morning sun after a misty damp day yesterday. Planting up two types of tulips – white/green super parrot and black parrot. Dug gladioli out for storage and found lots of baby corms on them – will try and grow them on next year. ...

It’s that time of year when heavy dew and misty mornings find all the webs in the hedges. Mushrooms emerging from the very wet grass and the leaves have all fallen from the virgnia creeper.

In middle of trying to get bulbs out into ground but it’s far too wet! (mix of white and black parrot tulips and summer snowflakes.)
Need to continue autumn clear down. Still to do :
Buddleja, golden hop, finish off pruning lavenders and rosemary bushes.
