Bright but bitter wind and frosts for the weekend…winter is early this year. Time to get out the pen and pencils and computer graphics instead. This picture is from a cornflower that grew this year.

17 Nov 2007Potatoes and radishes.. Ripplestone gardenOrdered organic potatoes – ‘Swift’ Found small patio radish seed and also picked up some borage – couldn’t resist the sound of it – quite fancy trying to crystallise flowers next year , if it grows!

Today saw the arrival of the first proper frost, although anything reasonably sheltered was missed by Jack which meant, luckily, all th pots on the patio that I haven’t wrapped up yet are OK!
