    Last springwatch for this year... 2 3 Happy Ripplestone garden and Valerian
    Rain has put paid to any sensible gardening over the last few days – also my camera has decided now is a good time to break! Tonight is last of this year’s Springwatch on telly which I have really enjoyed this year. Did mange to get a few photos from the garden this week.

    long time since last journal entry... on the allotment and in the garden... 4 3 cornflower and Love In A Mist 'Self Sown'
    Purple sprouting brocoli, kale, cabbages all sprouting on allotment, not too mention a variety of weeds! Tansy did not germinate. Potatoes about to flower.     Back on allotment, stuff in garden... 2 3 Happy
    Horrible head cold has meant last week was a bit of a waste..did get to the allotment finally on Friday, planted up french beans, courgettes and remaining pumpkins. Did some weeding. Broad beans and nasturtiums were looking good. Need to weed central bed again so that I can seed some summer salad...
