I signed up with myfolia a long time ago, but have only just begun to be active. I’m in Ohio, in a zone 5b area, planting up a deep neighborhood lot with several very large trees on it. This means I “garden in the dark” mostly, with Hostas, Lily of the Valley, and other shade friendly plants as my allies.
There is a nice sunny spot in the very back of the lot with a small rose bed and an existing vegetable plot. This last will be expanded this year, and planted out in a variety of veggies, and culinary herbs. There is a small area that I planted in Tithonias in the past. -I may do this again, since they attract so many butterflies.
I can’t wait to see what this new season brings!
