Thriving Lemongrass and Pre-Spring Vegetable Garden garden
The lemongrass continues to thrive, and we’ve even pulled off a few stems and chopped them up very thinly into Thai stir-fry. Good stuff.

    Denied Flower garden
Didn’t make it through our cold April. Which, considering we’re moving house this summer, is just as well.

The Few, The Proud, The Carrots 1 Carrot 'Chantenay Red Cored' and Pre-Spring Vegetable Garden garden
Only a few hardy carrot souls made it through the sprouting effort – I’m keeping them going more as an experiment than anything.

Doing OK Celery 'Utah Jumbo' and Pre-Spring Vegetable Garden garden
The celery is plugging along. Unfortunately, at least three of the plants have bolted, but the rest seem OK. It’s interesting to see them grow; they seem to have too many stalks careening off the main root to ever be able to form into the traditional compact celery bunch, but I don’...

Transplanted Leek, Allium an peloprasum HB Potting Up and Pre-Spring Vegetable Garden garden
I separated these little guys and put them into some larger containers so they’ll have room to grow. Eventually they’ll go into an Earthbox, but I want them to get bigger first.
