One of the anenome nemerosa which I put in last year started showing new leaves. Really pleased with this as I thought it had died.

The blue flag iris is the first water plant to flower, but many of the others have buds on them, so it won’t be long till they flower as well. This year the blue flag iris seems to be more purple than blue.

With all the rain we have had, the potatoes have grown tremendously in s short time

All the poppies are now flowering. It looks as though mainly the lavender and red ones have come out, although one raspberry one has appeared.

These burgundy ones under the apricot tree will need to be thinned out after flowering as they have expanded so much.
