This rose seems a little more pink than blue this year – maybe the fertilizing regime?

This bearded iris is being crowded out a little by ruby morn. But it is interesting seeing it next to ruby morn as it is a very similar colour, with slightly more magenta, and smaller in form.

This water iris has finally flowered. Unlike the other water irises, it has a beautiful dark purple-black flower stalk, and dark purple flowers. I hope this one continues to spread.

More meconopsis flowers have now come out. It has at least 10 more buds along the length of the stalk. I am very proud of this one, as i have tried unsuccessfully to grow meconopsis for a few years. I will try to save seed from this one to grow next year.

Most of the lavender poppies are now finished, but lots of red poppies came out after the lavender ones, and the doubles have just started to flower.
