Three years now in a country property (7 A) in E. Ontario which is just begging to be gardenend. Not as easy as I thought. Lots of flowers, shrubs and currently five large vegetable plots. Trying to grow as many varieties of vegetables, especially those not easily available in local stores, heirloom varieties and things other people in the area don’t have. Especially since this is a very dry area compared to everything else around us, it is a challenge to keep the temperamental heirlooms alive. Maybe I need to change my strategy.
