My current garden began in 1980 as a small cottage garden. I became ill, eventually becoming disabled. As my illness progressed, my garden grew but changed from high maintenance cottage garden perennials to low maintenance naturalized woodland xeriscape. It is mostly in shade with a few sunny spots that shift as the day progresses.
