EATEN ALIVE!! Rod Parsley and Porchmonster Farm garden
A few days ago I was watering everybody before leaving for work and noticed two tiny caterpillars hanging out on Rod but was in a hurry so I didn’t think too much of them and left. I figured I could pick them off later and put them in the front “yard” where they can munch all t...

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking, or growing Basil Fawlty and Porchmonster Farm garden
On Sunday I came home late from a kayaking event to find that my poor plant babies had been neglected all day, sitting in the hot sun in soil baked completely dry. Everybody was wilted and withering and I wasn’t sure some of them would make it. But Basil worried me the most. He looked ne...

Getting there . . . Porchmonster Farm garden
I took the train half of the way home yesterday, which allowed for a nap and gave me plenty of energy to pull the soaking planters out and put some herbs in them. A few of them are starting to look a little sad, so I need to get all of them out of the kitchen and into a sunnier spot soon. The r...

Dang ol' planters Porchmonster Farm garden
The first planters I bought proved to be too small (after my second stop at Lullaby Farm Nursery) and the second ones, of which there are three, are the right size for all the plants. And I bought a planter for Dennis Kuspinach (to come later) without realizing I had one of the same from Rupert ...
