I moved to the Dallas, Texas area in November of 2007 after living in Houston for about 28 years. I moved here to be closer to my daughters and to help my oldest with her identical twin girls. I’ve had tons of fun with my grandbabies and watching them grow. (and of course turning them over to their mom when I’m through playing!!)
.
I’m also excited to have 2 1/2 acres to play with. I originally considered xeriscaping the front yard into a no hassle zone, but have reconsidered. We need a sound barrier between us and the road.
.
In the meantime, I’m planting veggies and fruit trees and going crazy with new houseplants.
