I’ve got a spare corner of the backyard (about 2m X 2m) that was originally earmarked for a vegie patch but never really happened until now. Thought it was time to give it a go, so (after digging up the weeds and mixing in some chook fertiliser) I planted a few tomatoes, capsicum, brussel sprouts, cucumbers, a chili and a strawberry plant in there. So far the only thing grown from seed is the cucumbers and I didn’t take any notice of the date that I planted them. I’ll put up a picture of my vegie patch when I get around to taking one. I still have some room so I intend on planting radish and carrot.
