This week our neighbors got their irrigation pump going and started watering their hay field. I thought we’d have to just limp along this year with a sprinkler and hose and our house well. We have an irrigation well and in-ground sprinklers for the yard but with this place not being taken ...Sunny 7°C / 45°F -

I forgot to bring in all the tomato seedlings in the mini greenhouse on Sunday night. We had a REALLY hard frost overnight and they are all toast :( -

Overcast 6°C / 43°FWe became official homeowners again on February 15. Today I broke ground for a garden. I put it in the front yard because its the best spot as far as sun exposure and proximity to the house. I turned the sod over in a 4×12 area. I think I’ll layer it with cardboard before I add anythin...
