Paige’s Little Shop of Horrors is a small specialty indoor nursery. With the help of compact fluorescent bulbs (C.F.L.), L.E.D (light emitting diode) lighting, and a controlled environment, we produce top quality plants that have never been outside and exposed to pests, diseases, or shock.
We try to remain as organic and eco-friendly as possible. By using L.E.D. lights and C.F.L. bulbs for lighting, we are saving energy when compared to the total output of an H.I.D. bulb (High Intensity Discharge light bulb).
We attempt to remain as organic as possible by using organic soil for all of our seedlings and cuttings (Fox Farm Ocean Forest is our preference here at Paige’s Little Shop of Horrors); our fertilizers are organic, as are our methods of pest control (Paige’s Little Shop of Horrors is home to many ladybugs to ensure that our plants are pest free); if we do use sprays, we try to remain organic by using a brand such as Mighty Wash or Liquid Ladybug, which are both organic.
