My name is Jordan, and im 16 for a start-not many of us teens are into gardening, let alone the tricky world of Orchids! I live in the NE side of Hamilton, New Zealand, and in 2013, i may be moving to the Netherlands!
Orchids are my biggest passion-i currently own around 150, all of varying genera, some even 3 we intergenerics, and i am looking to EXPAND….
I also LOVE to garden-i have 4 flower gardens and 4 vege gardens-more are on the way! I dont grow the standard cabbage and silverbeet, i NEED to grow weird, wonderful and wacky. Currently i am growing
Aubergine,
3 varieties of Bean (Shiny Fardenlosa runners, Scarlet runners and Borlotti),
several varieties of Tomato, almost every one is an heirloom, including Roma, Moneymaker, Old Ivory Egg, Purple Cherokee, Yellow Pear, Sunella, Bragger (apparently grow the largest and heaviest toms in the world-up tp 1kg!), Vintage Wine, Virosa (a super grafted one i got free from work), Sweet 100….too many to name!
