    Pentas Cuttings Planted Out

Pentas and Bulbs and Butterfly garden
Not only did I plant out the pink, lavender, red and Rose pentas kept over in the greenhouse, Susie gave me a pot with 2 of Julie Neel’s favorite pink pentas and a white for the butterfly gardens. I planted the white Pentas in the Yellow Chicken Rose Garden and the pinks with other pinks.

    Amaryllis Now in Garden

    Amaryllis and Greenhouse garden
I planted out the amaryllis into the gardens. I ended up with a pink that never bloomed and a pink that bloomed dark red. The dark red one went into the beds outside the carport. The non-blooming pink went into the Front Walk Bed. The reds went into the front beds as well.

    Amaryllis

    Amaryllis Blooming and Greenhouse garden
The Pink Amaryllis looks a lot like the Red Amaryllis. Identical, actually. I brought the Pink (not!) one in the house and will bring in the other Red later.

    Transplanted

Dragon's Blood Sedum Transplanted and Azalea Trail garden
The Pets broke my ceramic umbrella stand. The top was intact, with jagged edges. I pushed it into the ground near some azaleas under an oak, and filled it with potting soil. Sedum ’Dragon’s Blood’ cuttings went into the improvised planter.

A Baker’s Dozen of Society Garlic for the Orange Rose Bed from a potful that I potted up for the Greenhouse. Last summer I was inspired by beautiful sunny beds of Society Garlic in yards on Country Club Drive in Panama City, along with Crape myrtles of all colors.

    Agapanthus

Agapanthus Transplanted and Front Walk garden
Dug the 2 plants of which only one bloomed last summer. Divided each into 3 sections and replanted in the same area. Buffie, my faithful garden helper, dug up 2, which I replanted.
