Plants have always been a big part of my life and most of my happiest memories are framed by them. For the last 18 years I have been living with my kids in one rental property or another, however there was always space to garden. Often when we arrived there was no garden to speak of at all. I find that I cannot NOT garden. The need to grow and nurture flowers in my surroundings is too strong.
I have been growing flowers, herbs and the odd tomato or such for all this time but putting off the BIG veggie patch of my dreams until the day we own our own home… Finally I realized that was dumb. I’ve quit putting off that bliss for later and towards the end of last year I started preparing the area I want to grow in.
I hope you enjoy sharing my garden and journey with my family and me.
