I’m totally devastated today.. Two of my strongest tommy’s have/had tomato blight and I had to pull them out and destroy them immediately. They are now in the garbage bin to be taken away forever. I’m sooooooo sad and unhappy and frustrated and angry. I just hope I got it earl...Rainy 20°C / 68°F -

I just spent a nice day out in the garden today. It was overcast all day, but it was really nice. I am glad that I was post-call once again. It’s a beautiful post-call day today, woke up to fantastic sunshine, that should only last til about noon today. That will give me enough time to mow the lawn (again) and tidy up the garden a bit. Hello everyone, I took a small hiatus (sort of) for the last week and celebrated that my mother was here in Germany. We also went to the UK for a few days, and it was absolutely fabulous. Spent the weekend NOT gardening
Hello! I just wanted to tell you that I’ve not been gardening that much over the weekend as my father is leaving Germany today and my mother just arrived here, so I took the opportunity to meet up with them while they both were here. Harvested some carrots, divided daffodils, planted some perrenials
Well, I harvested 6 carrots today, ate 3 of them on the way back to the house. Divided daffodils (youtube) and planted some perennials from seeds (youtube). All in all, a pretty good gardening day. Cleaned up a lot in the garden, moved things and I also broke down and bought a digitalis plant. :...Rainy 20°C / 68°F -

Wow! I knew I had a lot, but I didn’t realize just how many currants I had this year! And I’m not done yet! I have harvested 250 grams of white currants, 200 grams of black currants and as of today 600 grams of red currants! They are all washed, destemmed and now in the freezer, wait...Rainy 23°C / 73°F -
