    Moving the indoor gebera back outside Gerbera Daisy and House plants garden
    Bringing the gebera back outside. We’ll see how it does.

    Moving the gebera back outside Gerbera Daisy and Container garden
    Last year at the end of the growing season I moved my gebera daisy inside. It did bloom for a little bit, but then died. I’m going to bring the pot back outside today and see what happens.

    New location on the horizon for tomato plants! Tomato 'Grape' and Fruit and Vegetable garden
    I’m planning to plant our tomatoes in a different place this year so that they get more sun. We’ll see how they do!

    Buy a dahlia this year? Dahlia and Container garden
    Last year I seem to recall that I put too many plants in one big container. The dahlia was one that I moved, and when I did it got sort of bushy. Then I took drastic measures and cut it back. Learned my lesson…leave the plants alone! I think I’ll buy another dahlia this year, maybe ...

    Gerbera - moving it outside Gerbera Daisy Moved and House plants garden
    I brought my gerbera daisy in for the winter, and it did bloom a little bit. Now, however, I’m going to bring the pot back outside. We’ll see what happens!

    Putting this garden to bed for the winter Fruit and Vegetable garden
    It’s winter here in Chicago, so the vegetables have all been harvested. I thought I would take a brief minute to sum up. The tomatoes did ok, the zucchini was so-so, and the rhubarb was fabulous. The lettuce did well until I let it go to seed (I’ll try again next year). I’m ...

    Moved the hosta and planted them in the ground Hosta Moved and Container garden
    I finally planted the hostas in the ground! Let’s see if the few weeks we have of fall will be enough for them to take root. I would love it if they would grow back after the winter!
