About 2 years ago I bought this cute little ranch with just about an acre of land. I was inspired, I had this big beautiful empty canvas infront of me, all for me, to do whatever I wanted! So then it began I was putting in my first flower garden. I was ambitious putting in roses and azealas, primrose and hostas. Looking back I learned quite a bit since then, planning and patience (not my strong spots!) are essential to any garden! I actually relooked at that garden this year and thought about how I could rearrange some stuff to make it more aesthetically pleasing! Now I have two flower gardens, 5 organic raised beds (with hopes of more!) and I am starting my first ever rock/pond garden! I love being outside (sans the biting bugs especially the biting kind!) and getting my hands dirty! I also am a mom of 3 and a wife. I love teaching my children all about different plants and they are good little helpers! I am interested in where my food comes from thus is the reason for the raised beds. I have 6 cute little Golden Comet chickens, aka the “gals” and hope to someday become a beekeeper. Gotta be patient a lesson I am definitely learning!!
