Four Cuttings Taken of Cape Primrose
Salad Leaves - Polycress Sown and Cape PrimroseCloudy 21°C / 70°FThis little plant seems to be doing well and had a good few stems I thought I could take some cuttings from. The plan was to multiply this plant to dot around the new flat myself and my boyfriend will be moving into in August. I think it would be quite a treat to see those pretty purple flowers...

Chilli's and Dwarf Runner Beans Setting Fruit & Harvest No.6
Strawberry Runners Harvesting, Chilli Pepper Setting Fruit, and Runner Bean Dwarf Hestia Setting FruitCloudy 21°C / 70°F6 more tasty strawberries harvested today :) I was getting a bit worried about the beans as they had been flowering for weeks but I couldn’t see any fruit setting. But they’ve started now – looks like they just take longer than the tomatoes, strawberries, courgettes etc. Good ...

Courgette is Very Very Sick =(
CourgetteCloudy 21°C / 70°FIt’s a miserable drizzly day here in London and to top it off, the powdery mildew on my courgette plant has now got so bad, that I’ve had to take pictures to document it on here. Sunny 25°C / 77°FThought I’d take some pictures in the morning sunshine of the wall of foliage and flowers that my plants have made on my little balcony. I think it’s all looking rather spectacular if I do say so myself. Pic 1 – you’ve got to love how the tumbling tomatoes are hanging over...

Sunflower Flowering, "Sweet" Mini Red Pepper Setting Fruit, Cayenne Pepper Setting Fruit, Lavender Flowerin...Sunny 24°C / 75°FPlease excuse my slightly vulgar level of excitement – this is the first year I’ve ever grown anything so it’s all still completely novel to me, but WOW I CAN SEE LITTLE GREEN TOMATOES! And peppers – they just look fantastic. I’m ecstatic about them. Why would an...

With the limited space I have on my balcony, I’ve decided to pull up the beet, turnip and radish seedlings so I could empty the pots and them stack up. These veg look unattractive and don’t give me enough produce or aesthetic appeal for the space they take up. I think they’re b...Sunny 26°C / 79°F -

Pak Choi, Sweet Peas, Snowladies and final Sunflower Planted Out
Sweet Pea - Hanging Basket Planting Out, Pak Choi Planting Out, Sunflower , Poppy - Oriental Dwarf Transpla...Sunny 24°C / 75°FThe pak choi were becoming pot bound and drying out so quickly with this warm weather and their tiny pots. The hanging basket sweet peas were also clearly desperate for a nice edge to tumble out of. I lined the back of my 5th and final window box with the 4 pak choi and one sunflower in the midd...
