The garden is starting to take form. Hours spent in it are increasing rapidly..

    Pea - Meteor Budding
I could quite easily wile away most waking hours in the garden. Finding some job to do, pottering about or simply looking at everything with wonder, pride and a huge amount of satisfaction. Pic 1 is the view towards the study in the flat. Lots of container stuff going on here including several t...

The weather forecast for this Bank Holiday weekend was heavy rain and strong winds – typical of a British public holiday. During the couple of hours of sunshine in the morning we had today, I decided to stake up the young giant sunflowers (pic 2 and 3) and Dorian Peas (Mr Big) (pic 1) with ...

Work colleagues have had their tender veg braving the outside temperatures for a while now, so I’ve decided to move all the beans and most of the tomato seedlings to the top shelf of the greenhouse (pic 1). I’m sure they’ll be fine as weather is relatively mild now and even if ...
