I started gardening first in primary school and have every since helped my parents with the flower and vegetable gardening. I now rent a flat and my landlady has kindly agreed for me to use her garden. She does not use it, so getting started has been a difficult fight against weeds, too much lawn everywhere, dug-in building rubble and heavy-clay soil.

I am now half way through the first year and pretty please with the results so far. There were of course some set backs. The catarpillars devastated my kohlrabi coz I netted them too late and radishes bolting prematurely… well, watch this space and my journal for more updates as I plough along.
