Kale

I am currently a full-time junior at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, majoring in English with a minor in business and technical writing. I began gardening my senior year of high school as a result of ‘senior projects’ that Hanover High so inconviently throws at us. The goal of the senior projects was to, essentially, have us research our topic, complete our selected ‘project’, and eventually present what we learned/accomplished. So, as you probably assumed, I decided to research, complete work on, and present on my first-hand experience with gardening. I had always loved flowers, and had always wanted to have my own garden; however, the work always sort of outweighed the idea. But, I knew that whatever I was going to do would require work, so I figured that would be the perfect opportunity to really create my garden. And here I am—the amateur gardener! (I say ‘amateur’ because it’s sadly true. I have a hard time remembering names and I only tend to my garden when I’m home on breaks.)
