Garlic Landrace And True Garlic Seed and North Field garden
I am currently removing bulbils from garlic flowers. I’m expecting that this will induce a few of them to set true garlic seed. I love genetic diversity in my garden. My long-term goal is to develop a variety of garlic that can be grown routinely from true seeds just like onions can be grow...

    Peas, Blooming 3-4 weeks early.

Peas, Earliest Shelling -- Seed Patch Flowering and North Field garden
I love plant breeding!!! I have been saving seeds each year from the earliest peas in the patch… This year I have 9 plants that are blooming 3-4 weeks earlier than a pea has ever flowered for me before. Not enough peas to eat this year, but enough to grow a tremendous crop next year.
