They say you can’t grow vegetables very easily in the mountains. Well, we’re gonna give it a try. Located at 8,150 ft. about sea level and challenged by limited sun (the result of living in a narrow valley), we are attempting a planter box garden so that we can move it indoor/outdoors easily. The temperature changes are dramatic this time of year. In fact, its snowing right now (May 10). We’re ready to take on the challenge of growing veggies in East Vail.
